Unable to afford employees, the couple managed to keep the store open from early morning until late night seven days a week, depending on their teenage son, Marvin, to deliver prescriptions and run other errands.

There are now seven Kohll’s Pharmacies strategically located in the Omaha/Papillion metro areas that offer convenient and reliable service. More than 150 employees provide that service. Working on staff with the Kohll’s corps and professional pharmacists to fulfill the health needs of the community are registered nurses, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, naturopathic consultants and other health therapists who provide daily patient care.

Kohll’s has expanded to serve the community not only through prescription needs and medication management packaging, but also through medical equipment and supply needs, as well as customized compounded prescriptions. Some areas of service include: Oxygen; Diabetes needs; Mobility Needs such as Wheelchair Vans, Wheelchairs, Scooters, Stair Glides and Reclining Lift Chairs; Mastectomy and Compression Garments; Urological and Incontinence Supplies; and Products for New and Expecting Mothers. Kohll’s also offers many health screenings such as Cholesterol and Diabetes Testing, as well as a full range of vaccinations including Flu and Pneumonia.

Nearly sixty years later, Kohll’s remains a family pharmacy in the truest sense. Marvin Kohll, and in turn, two of his sons, Justin and David, continue to serve as professional pharmacists, giving the scrupulous personal attention that has characterized Kohll’s from the beginning, over 55 years ago.
